Delicious Italian food and great service! Try their bread; it's so good!!

First time here tonight with my daughter, on a friend's recommendation. What a delicious dinner! She had the baked ziti and I had the angel hair with olives, peppers, pine nuts, raisins and marinara. Everything was fresh, homemade marinara sauce and salad dressing were delish. Service was attentive and courteous. I'm a New Yorker who has been on the hunt for good Italian food since I moved here last year -- well, the search is over!

Pretty standard pizza/pasta place.The food is good but they do not have nutrition info on their menus so if are keeping a food diary it's all guesswork.

What a great little Italian restaurant! Fantastic food, very friendly service and nice atmosphere, especially considering it's in a strip mall. Would highly recommend the chicken piccata, eggplant parm & zucchini fritti appetizer!

This is a great place. They know how to cook pasta well. I also had a personal pizza that was good and could have fed two students. All the food was good. The server was very nice too. This is a nice addition to this area.

What a wonderful service and what a delicious food. You guys deserve appreciation. We just enjoyed food and time here. Chicken Parm was awesome with vegetarian pizza. Absolutely amazing food and clean tables.we would visit again.

Food was great.Wed is wine down Wed and 1/2 price wine. We stayed late visiting and they didnt complain. Service was great. Highly recommend!

Magone is a relaxed, friendly, family run restaurant with delicious pasta and friendly service. We always love the fresh-out-of-the-oven bread as well. Check out their wine-down Wednesdays with 1/2 priced bottles of wine!

Doesn’t seem like much from the outside, but the food is great! I recommend the baked ziti. The bread they serve is more than likely just pizza dough, but it’s still pretty good. The service is pretty good, depending on who you get.

Unassuming strip mall appearance may have you missed this place if you are not local. Good reviews found on web/app led us to here. Quality ingredients, generous portion and delicious taste comes with every dish we ordered. Service was friendly and easy going. Very satisfied we used this place for a dinner.

Great food here, everything we had was good. Clamari, Shrimp Parmesan (the special), and Gniocci with the Pink Vodka Sauce and zuccini. We also had good service.

I love the Margarita pizza and salad!! Those are the only 2 things I’ve ever had, and I get it every time I go. Everyone is nice and friendly!

Very disappointing. A while back though it was one of the best around but recently feel the food and customer service has been sadly lacking. Take out orders are given little attention. Recently ordered a take out order of eggplant parmesan with no pasta. Didn't even get a piece of bread. I was still charged the same. They are sadly going down hill. It's a shame. I also see they are only posting the good reviews not the negative. Not surprising.

Very good local Italian. Garlic cheese bread, baked ziti excellent - service attentive. Eggplant parmigiana not so good - obviously prepared in advance - breading separating from the eggplant. I would go back but definitely avoid the eggplant.

Excellent spot for Italian food! I lived in NYC for 4 years and I have to say this is very good. The service is excellent. The wine selection is good. If you get some of the pastas here, be sure to ask for extra sauce. Prices are reasonable.

Good NY style pizza. Variety of other standard Italian grill choices. Easy parking, nice staff, relatively inexpensive.

The Calamari appetizer was delicious. My Grandpa loved the dark beer he got (I don't remember the name). I got the Stromboli, and it was exquisite. Great marinara sauce. The service was great, very responsive.The portions were very large. I got the large Stromboli, which came cut into four pieces, and I was only able to eat one. They gave me some marinara sauce to take home with me as well. Each will be a separate meal for me. Already had one a day later, and it kept well in the refrigerator.

A lot of young staff who lack experience in proper basic restaurant/ service industry decorum. The really good food makes up for it ten fold.

I loved love loved the food!!!! Very good cannolis! The only problem I had was with the slow service. If you’re looking for a nice sit down restaurant, this is a good one.

For those who have been to Pulcinellas in Durham, this place will feel very familiar. The ownership is the same so much of the food is the same, which is to say delicious. Big fan of the lasagna, italian sub, their pizzas, and their stromboli. The staff is friendly and the beer selection (all bottled I think) is decent for such a small place. Definitely worth checking out if you want some good italian food in Chapel Hill.

Cheese sauce and crust were good. Generous portions of toppings but i was vaguely disappointed at the run of the mill large chain style beef topping. I had 2 slices, one beef and mushroom, the other cheese. Both with a drink on special for 6.50. Very friendly wait staff and fast service. Over all i was happy. I'd go again if I were in the area.
